How Consultations Work at our Immigration Law Office

Our first step in working with new clients is to arrange an initial in-depth personal or telephone consultation. It is important to obtain expert advice before applying for a Canaian visa so that you aware of any potential pitfalls and issues in your application. If you don’t you may encounter delays, complications and added expense at a later stage.

The purpose of an initial consultation is for one of our ICCRC accredited Canadian immigration specialists to carry out a thorough assessment of your eligibility across all Canadian immigration programs and identify the most suitable option according to your profile and long-term immigration goals.

We will also conduct a legal merits assessment during the initial consultation, in line with the ICCRC Code of Professional Ethics. This involves reviewing your personal history and supporting evidence, identifying possible issues of concern and suggesting strategies to increase your prospects of success. We will advise you on the chances of your case succeeding so that you can make an informed decision whether or not to proceed with a visa application.

We will then provide a fixed-fee price quote should you wish to instruct us to prepare your Canadian immigration application. Your initial consultation fee will be credited towards our quote.  You are under no obligation to hire Sterling Immigration to prepare your application.

Following our initial consultation, you will receive a written summary of our advice together with confirmation of our fees, timescales and legal merits assessment.

Personal Consultation
